New 2023 Dodge Charger Rumors

2023 Dodge Charger Rumors

2023 Dodge Charger – Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger. Both are heading towards the end of their respective lifecycle.

Will there be a replacement for two rear-wheel-drive monsters? Or, to be specific, will a new charger and Challenger be coming in 2023? As an old fan of Dodge and all things “MOPAR “(Chrysler motorcycle Parts), we sure hope the power that is in the FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) has some viable substitutes for these beloved sidewalk pounders.

It is assumed that the FCA will only use the LX platform for their large cars, but that would not be a longer case. Charger, Challenger, and 300 are expected to switch to Giorgio FCA’s platform. FCA also tempts us with this little Easter egg in the latest Challenger press photo.

Let’s back up Goodyear in just one minute. Why launch date for the next-generation Dodge Charger and Challenger a big problem, you might ask? Well, for beginners, this car is dying.

They are from a relatively inexpensive gas and American iron and muscle rule the streets, drag strips, and drive-ins.

The charger’s real nameplate dates back to 1965. Still, the car (two-door Coupe back in the day) actually did not hold up with the automotive public until a popular second-generation car debuted for the 1968 model year.

2023 Dodge Charger Features

The new design features a “flying buttress ” rear roof and window care along with a signature Hide-Away lamp and a full-width front grille.

The ‘ 68 through ‘ 70 Dodge charger into an icon, Co-starring with Steve McQueen in the film chasing the Seminal car “Bullitt ” and a decade later, jumping pools and straw bales around Hazzard County, Georgia.

The odometer reads quite comfortably, as a car tap used for photographs may not have accumulated over 2,000 miles.

2023 is when the new platform will deliver the next, and potentially the last, generation of this big car FCA. 2023 also when the Chevrolet Camaro is expected to fade from existence.

While the future can be relatively scary, it can also be relatively predictable, which is why TheSketchMonkey has taken modern design cues and created an interpretation of what the 2023 Dodge charger could look like.

Dodge resurrected Charger as a Rear-wheel drive car again for the sixth generation in 2005, but this time, the Coupe is gone and in its place is the four-door sedan.

The initial version of the car actually does not have a lot of “charger ” In it when it comes to looking, but the new car does offer an optional HEMI-powered V8 under the hood as part of the performance-oriented R/T (Road/Track) package.

Some of the big face-lifts then have brought us to the current charger line, which properly seeps the classic Sixties muscle car styling cues.

Not to be missed, Challenger returned four years after the revival of the charger as a more retro-inspired version of the original 1970 car.

Both modern versions rise in a modified Mercedes-Benz E-Class platform that dates back to the bad-Fated Daimler-Chrysler marriage from the late 1990s. This is a good foundation for both cars, but in terms of automotive technology, it-is-ancient.

So after fourteen (Charger) and ten (Challenger) years of production calendar, it has been a long time to substitute, right? But where do they have to go from here? The first rumors started around 2016 when our own Zero to 60 blogs reported that the next generation charger would arrive by 2019.

2023 Dodge Charger Engine

The design is said to look like a charger concept shown to the public back in 1999, features a twin-Turbo four-cylinder, and may be based on the Alfa Romeo sedan platform.

The FCA has since debunked the Alfa Romeo part of the story, and as far as power plants go, there’s been a definite one. But how about that 2023 hint from the picture that Dodge now denies as “hints?”

Regardless of whether both modern muscle cars reappear with Sheetmetal all-new on the 2023 or another date, it is a pretty good bet that Dodge will find a way to resume both.

The Challenger beat out both the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro, the main competition, in the third quarter of sales this year for the first time.

The charger is currently a champion for Dodge as the best-selling, full-size 4-door sedan in America as far as this model of the year.

Whatever or every time Dodge plans to roll out new chargers and Challenger combos, let’s hope they both offer a rear-wheel drive, a lot of Ban-Smokin’, machine-screaming grunt, and many styling bits that move us forward. Still, it also brings us back to the glory days when muscle cars govern the earth.
