New 2022 Dodge RAM Laramie

2022 Dodge RAM Laramie – Ram 1500 2022 is the best pickup truck because it raises expectations for the whole circle. Pickups have never been judged on discussion rather than refinement. Not anymore. And this latest Ram, with its luxurious interior and comfortable travel quality, easily exceeds even the most luxurious versions of the Chevy Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, and Ford F-150.

Innovative air suspension, built-in cargo beds, separate folding tailgates, and a giant 12.0-inch touchscreen are all options not offered to rivals. equipped with a rich diesel 6-cylinder engine and torque, the Ram enhances the standard V-6 and optional Hemi V-8 with a hybrid system.

They contribute to the contemporary vibe of the pickup, which is also powered by its extensive technology and myriad capabilities — which makes the Ram an easy choice for our 10Best 2021 list.

The Ram 1500 truck has been the top-ranked light-duty pickup since this latest generation debuted for 2019. It sets the bar for the class in terms of technology integration, interior material quality, and driving comfort while providing strong towing and hauling capabilities.

For 2022, the competition will be much toured: Ford is set to launch the redesigned F-150 for 2021. The F-150 will be on the market with great interior upgrades and many serious new technologies.

The RAM 1500 features new optional technologies such as a driver head-up display, available digital rearview mirrors, new performance, and off-road reading via a 12-inch touchscreen, and a trailer rear-control system that steers the truck for you as you drive your trailer to your parking lot.

What’s New for 2022?

Not only is the Hellcat-backed debut of the Ram 1500 TRX, which we reviewed separately, making the 2022 half-ton Ram range even more exciting, it also signifies the introduction of some cool new options for less extreme models.

These include a newly available head-up display, a fully digital rearview mirror, features that control the steering wheel of the truck when backing up to the trailer, and an Off-Road page contained in an infotainment system that shows travel height, pitch-and-roll monitoring, and transfer-case mode.

Along with some improved trailer-specific features, the addition of pedestrian detection to the Advanced Safety Package, and the expanded availability of advanced collision warnings, there is a special Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition. This includes a Plethus of exclusive badging inside and out as well as Mountain Brown interiors with unique trim cuts.

Dodge RAM Laramie Horsepower

features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 pounding out 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. That’s a lot of russet. Ram says the TRX can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds – an amazing number for a beef pickup truck like this. But that’s not all.

The TRX also features wide-quality fenders, 35-inch tires, special suspension, a reinforced frame, and a 2-inch chassis lift, all for improved off-road high-speed performance.

Although the arrival of the crazy TRX reduced the Rebel’s desire, we still thought it was a half-ton ram to get. We’ll choose a crew cabin with a four-wheel drive, which costs $3500 more than the rear-drive version. Although the standard V-6 can be serviced, we prefer the extra power and sexy rumble that the Hemi V-8 provides for $1495. We will also choose air suspension for travel heights to choose from.

Since it requires a Level 1 or Level 2 package, we think the last long-range start list, 115-volt power outlets, front and rear parking sensors, power-adjustable pedals, passive hands-free entry, and more make it a must-get. We will also capture a 33-Gallon fuel tank that will allow less charging during road trips than a standard 26-gallon tank.

With a potential price tag approaching $100,000, a fully loaded TRX is certainly not for everyone. Then again, that’s the beauty of a full-size truck – there’s a version that fits every need, wants, and budget. For now, the Ram 1500 2022 leads the full-size pickup package. But check back later this year to find out how it compares to the new F-150.

we know it’s not a practical pickup that most buyers will need. Instead, Laramie should work well for most Ram buyers. It comes with some desirable standard equipment such as an 8.4-inch touchscreen and heated and ventilated front seats. It also gives you access to optional technology and safety features that aren’t available in Tradesman or Big Horn.

Dodge RAM 1500 Models

The Ram 1500 comes in seven trims: base Tradesman, Big Horn (also called Lone Star in Texas), Rebel beefed-up, followed by Laramie, LongHorn, and Limited. Finally, new to 2021 is TRX, an off-road-focused version with many exclusive features.

You can get Ram 1500 in quad-cab or crew-cab configuration. They’re both crew taxis, but quad cabs have less rear legroom. Quad cabins come with long beds (6 feet, 4 inches), while crew cabins can have long beds or short beds (5 feet, 7 inches).

Inside, the Ram 1500 has a very functional cubby stowage and passenger room. adding high-end materials and creature comforts that make the Ram feel more like a luxury vehicle than a pickup truck.

Most models can be equipped with high-end features such as heated and ventilated seats and panoramic sunroof, while the most luxurious versions have premium leather surfaces and original wood accents. Like most full-size pickup trucks, the ram 1500 crew cabin is very spacious. It also has a large amount of interior storage and a unique separate folding tailgate.

Truck RAM has had one of the best infotainment systems and connectivity features in the classroom for a while. It continues on the latest trucks, with a 12.0-inch touchscreen or optional 12.0-inch responsive or massive available on all but the basic Ram models.

Too bad we experienced a lot of disruption with the big display during our 40,000-mile long-term test. The system offers many power points as well as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and mobile hotspots. Fortunately, even the largest screens have physical knobs and hard buttons that complement touchpoints.
